Start in daylight and last leg shortest
We will create a livelier 10MILA atmosphere on Saturday evening and night at the 10MILA Arena by reducing the time between events. It really is going to be an awesome Saturday night. We will plan for the first women’s team to cross the finish line around 18:00 with the men’s 10MILA relay start only about 90 minutes later at 19:30! The first exchange at around 20:20 and the second exchange at 21:10, just before the dusk, and then the runners will continue to run through the dark Småland night.
Another novelty is that 10MILA Relay ends with a leg of about only 8 km, which will likely create some different coaching strategies. Do you want to save the team’s biggest star for the relay’s shortest leg?
